Sometimes one verse is enough room for today.
You don't have to cover a chapter to have studied Scripture. This section slows everything down and gives one verse your full attention. Stay with the words, notice what's actually there, and resist the urge to rush toward the next thing.
-
Directions: Read the verse three times. Write one thing you're told to do, one thing God says about Himself, and one word you want to understand better.
-
Directions: Identify who is speaking, who is invited, what they're invited to do, and what Jesus promises.
-
Directions: Read verses 21–24 for context. Then return to verse 23 and write what exactly Jeremiah describes as “new.”
-
Directions: Write the verse. Circle what you are told to do and underline the reason you're able to do it.
-
Directions: Draw the two pictures in the verse: a lamp and a path. Write what God's Word is compared to and what the imagery communicates.
